I am a BMX racer and I have been racing bikes in one form or another since I was 9 years old.
In my BMX racing career, I have been very fortunate to have raced all over Australia many times and to have been to America, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Belgium.
My connection Excel is through delivering them their mail for the last two years!
I’m now a few weeks away from my next race in Colombia to have a shot at a World Championship (since this story was published Brett has actually returned as World Champion!)
I have held 13 national titles, 30 state tiltes. I won North and South Island titles in New Zealand within the same year as my Pacific Oceania championship and, in 2003, I was also a world champion.
My connection to ExcelPhysio is through work. I’m a postman, so I was lucky enough to deliver the mail and that’s how we came in contact. I now get regular work done on tired or sore muscles, aches, and pains.
I have referred plenty of people to ExcelPhysio and they all come back to thank me.
My training leading into this world championship has been very different, since I’ve cut the gym work back to only 2 days out of 5. I spend much more time on the bike and also incorporate velodrome race training to gain more power and speed. So far, it’s been a great blend and I don’t get stake in any one training pattern .
Apart from the massage service I get from Excel Physio, I use the magnesium powder a lot to help with muscle recovery and cramp pains . Well, fingers crossed I become the 2016 World Champion in my class in a few weeks so I can retire leaving my sport at the highest possible level!
Well here’s the good news – Brett won! And he still delivers our mail and comes for massages.
