Pilates is a targeted form of exercise designed to improve the quality of human movement by taking into consideration the different forms of muscle strength, control and endurance necessary for normal function. Clinical pilates takes into account an individual’s injuries, underlying medical conditions and specific goals.


At Excel Physiotherapy and Wellness, our experienced instructors are University trained Physiotherapists who have completed extra qualifications in Clinical Pilates, bringing their expertise and Physiotherapy knowledge to the individual session or small group class situation.

Clinical pilates is available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Excel. Our classes combine a mixture of mat work and reformer in order to improve your fitness levels and achieve your goals.

Our in-house gym is equipped with reformer machines. Our classes are kept to a maximum of 5 people per class to ensure a personalised experience for our students. We provide all mats and props and ask that you bring your own pair of socks.

Please note if you are pre/post natal, injured or have chronic pain we require you to attend an initial 30 min assessment consult *. An initial consult is also required for private health fund rebates.
